Land Rover sold 194,000 vehicles worldwide in 2009

Land Rover is a British car manufacturer headquartered in Gaydon, United Kingdom which specialises in four-wheel drive vehicles. It is owned by Tata Motors, forming part of its Jaguar Land Rover subsidiary. It is the second-oldest four-wheel drive car brand in the world (after Jeep).

Land Rover originated as one specific vehicle, originally known just as the Land Rover, a pioneering civilian all-terrain utility vehicle launched by Rover Company in 1948, but has developed into a brand encompassing a range of four-wheel drive models, including the Defender, Discovery, Freelander and Range Rover. Land Rovers are assembled in Halewood, UK and Solihull, UK, with research and development primarily taking place in Gaydon. Land Rover sold 194,000 vehicles worldwide in 2009.

Dodge Ram full-size pickup truck for sale

The Ram (previously known as Dodge Ram) is a full-size pickup truck manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC and, as of late 2010, sold under the Ram brand. Previously, Ram was part of the Dodge lineup of light trucks.

The name Ram was first used in 1981 on the redesigned Ram and Power Ram, though it came from the hood ornament used on 1930s and '40s Dodge vehicles. The truck is in its fourth generation as of the 2009 model year.

Dodge Ram trucks have been named Motor Trend magazine's Truck of the Year three times: the second-generation Ram won the award in 1994, and the third-generation Ram Heavy Duty won the award in 2003. The fourth-generation Dodge Ram Heavy Duty won in 2010.

The Ram is currently built at Saltillo Truck Assembly in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico and Warren Truck Assembly in Warren, Michigan, United States.
